We respect and cherish the individuality of
all the children at Artisans.
We want your child to discover themselves, be proud of their identity, be able to trust and feel safe, to have fun, to experience the pleasure of friendships and growth and to enjoy the stability we can offer.

Relationships
We recognise that relationships are the central pivot of the children's happiness and learning. All children will therefore be able to work with all staff and all other children.
Each child has a designated key worker. Through this each child will have the opportunity to create a special bond with a particular staff member with whom they may choose to spend time, share treasures or seek reassurance.
Parental involvement

recognizes that it works in partnership with Parents and Carers in the development of each child.
Our extended drop off and collection times allow children and parents to be greeted individually. They provide a daily opportunity for parents to discuss the needs of their child. They allow children to move between home and Artisans at their own natural pace.
Every half term we provide an opportunity for parents to meet each other.
We have celebrations of the children's work at the end of each project to which parents are invited. Fortnightly newsletters during term time keep parents informed of the activities the children are engaging in. Parents are given regular formal opportunities to speak to staff about their child.
