This fortnight we have enjoyed …. all the fibre optics, glow sticks and more in our
den, northern lights dances, freezing and melting different substances,
recording temperatures, marbling ink pictures of northern lights, identifying environmental
sounds, using the computer to find videos of northern lights and power points
about different animals in the polar regions.
Thank You
Firstly
for the beautiful flowers. The children are taking great pride in preparing
their environment with fresh flowers on every table.
Secondly,
for all the spare clothes donations. We have sufficient items now and all surplus
items have been donated to Keech Cottage.
Mad Science
We had a wonderful time with incredible experiments about ice, melting and heating
water and much more with a Mad Professor from Mad science last Friday. We
spread external visits across the academic year, days of the week and am and pm
sessions to enable everyone to participate. We are hoping for a farm next half
term!
Baby Clothes
Jack’s Mummy will be displaying her range of eco friendly baby clothes on Tuesday
morning.
Policies
This half term the following policies were reviewed with minimal amendments –
Admissions, Behaviour, Classroom Etiquette, Lost and Uncollected Children, Volunteers.
Requests
For any non fiction or dual language books on any topic. Thank you .
And next terms project is…
Spring!
We shall be looking at animals, plants and gardens, life cycles, Easter and
other Festivals and asking questions such as “what is Spring?” and “what is
weather for?”
